Study this example situation:

Larissa is looking for her key. She can't find it. She has lost her key. It means that Larissa lost the key and still hasn't got it.

Have / has lost = present perfect simple

I/we/they/you *** Have finished/lost/done/been /caught/found

He/she/it *** Has cleaned/found/cried/studied
