25- When I do/ When I've done - When and if

Look at these examples:

Jhonatan - What time will you phone me tomorrow ?
William - I'll phone you when I get home from work.

* " I'll phone you when I get home from work" is a sentence with two parts.

The main part - " I'll phone you'
The " when " part - " When I get home from work".

Observe : Even though the time in the sentence is future ( tomorrow) William used the present tense of GET in the ' when' part of the sentence.

* This happened because William knows that he can't use the future will in the When part of the sentence.
